Altex is currently (March and April 2009) teaching at Tallinn University Baltic Film and Media School.
The course is called DIRECT, INTERACTIVE AND DATABASE MARKETING

The course contains different e-marketing related topics starting with the basic rules of creating a working website. Other topics can be divided between optimising and improving the website and promotional activities. Students will have to take a short test after each lecture which will be the base of passing the course.

Students will learn what matters in creating a successful website and how to drive targeted traffic to a website. Students, who have successfully passed the course will have a clear picture on what are the main areas of work and responsibility in order to build and maintain a successful website, how to optimise the website and campaigns and what are the different online promotion channels.

Topics include:
Basic rules of creating a working website.
Measuring the success of a website. Attracting people to a website.
Building organic search traffic. Adwords and the Google Challenge.
Search engine advertising.
Link building. Banner advertisements.
Email marketing.
Social media.
Usability testing and Morae.
