Ministry of Foreign Affairs Concerned of Attack against Estonian Chancery in Pskov
The Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed concern over the attack against the Pskov Chancery of Consulate General in St. Petersburg in the morning of 10 May. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on the government of the Russian Federation to take all measures to guarantee the safety of the Pskov Chancery.
Attacks against Estonian missions in the Russian Federation are unacceptable, Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Paet said.
„Russian authorities need to guarantee the safety of all three Estonian representations in Russia,” Paet emphasised. “The Russian Federation has to abide by the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations,” he added.
