Commemorating the Deportations to Siberia
Wednesday, June 13, 2007 9:59 by Robin GurneyPosted in category English Posts, Estonian Culture in UK
Members of my (Estonian) family, like so many, suffered deportations during the Soviet occupation.
So whilst I am not a religious man (at all) I will be sharing a little of their pain on Sunday at:
United Remembrance Service
(To commemorate the deportation to Siberia of Latvians, Lithuanians and Estonians)
on Sunday, June 17th 3pm
at St James’s Church, Piccadilly , London W1
The Service is organised by The Baltic Council in Great Britain
